Movie review of Shutter Island

**Posted by Allen at 9:53 PM

Shutter Island is one of the awesome movie that i watched lately, directed by Martin Scorsese! Great movie with great story.I can't help myself to watch this movie more than 3 times. And one of the most important reason is i like the main character Leonardo DiCaprio, who is really really cool.
The story is set in 1954, as a U.S. Marshall named Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) investigate the disappearance of an insane-asylum patient, Rachel (Emily Mortimer). The strange thing is that the patient vanished from an asylum known as Shutter Island.O
To be honest, i am kind of confused about the story until almost the very end, but when i finished the ending, and i said:"oh, that's how the awesome story goes!"
                   overall,cool!cool!cool!cool!cool!cool!~;~

i thought i wasn't into these kind of psychological thriller before, but shutter island proved that i was wrong. though i understood the story line at the first time when i watch it, later on, i realize the more u watch it, u are deconstructing the film so the more details pop out to surprise you! cool movie!

Martin Scorsese is one of my favourite director's and in past films he formed a close working relationship with Robert DeNiro and now he's done that again with Leo.

Leo's been in: Shutter Island, The Departed, the Aviator and Gangs of New York.
I loved Shutter Island...but if you liked the feel of that, take the time to check out any of those four above, as they may all be better films.
OR, if you love psychological thriller style, maybe Scorsese's brilliant remake of Cape Fear...one of the most intense films ever (re)made.
    Whew!
