This scene is talking about the “hot”, how high the temperature is and
go though this scene we can see a lot of different camera angle\shot and
movement, actor and actress did a good job they play water to keep
themselves cool. Take a look in the last shot in this scene even the temperature
is high they still played happy, at that moment even you just a audience in
the cinema you feel that small town full of happiness. And black people were
discriminated by white people at that time, next scene you see a white man
he shout at them because of shooting his car with water. This film show a lot
thing to us and let us think deeper, I love it , the color and music suited this film.

Mid shot, and camera zoom in let we see much more details, like we can see the
title of each news and images.

The camera move from left hand side to right hand side and move very slowly,
your view fellow the camera to last newspaper. Then stop at the last newspaper
aim to let spectators focus on temperature on newspaper.
Then camera zoom in, we can see exactly what temperature it is at that moment.Color
The color of this film is a little bit red, when you see red you feel hotter even you
just sit in front of TV or sit in the cinema.

show us that temperature is high, from shot that the lady put her face into
ice water or nest person take shower , men drink beer to let them come
down in this hot day, all these thing just show one word” hot ”.

This is my favorite scene that all people play with water together, seems like
they never feel hot in this hot day. There is no different between children
and adult and they all feel happy at that moment, this small town turned
to jollification.

this section you feel that this happiness belongs to everybody in this small
town. In this part you can hear too much sound effect but laugh.
