there is a girl lives in the year of 2060. she is just one of the "normal" human beings lives in one of the metropolitan, such as Sydney, but the world at the time might be totally different from the one at the present. the only thing hasn't changed is human's mind--people love, hate;people enjoy the happiness and suffer from the emotional pains. she is the only one who is born to live in the memories she chooses to live in. she writes down things happen in her life as diary. if she dislikes a particular thing, all she needs to do is to cross off the texts she writes, then it's gonna gone forever in her head. she seems live in a quite happy life until one day she meets a boy, who's eyes are dull and grey. when he looks at her, his eyes are full of tears...
I don't know why, but this character reminds me a lot of Lenny from our beloved 'Memento'!
I think because of the choosing memories thing... But I like it, I would love to read more! :)
Lenny can not choose what to forget, but my character possibly can.i guess the common thing is that they all struggle living spiritually.i don't know why, memory is a very interesting thing,so i want to develop the story about memories.
He cannot choose what to forget, but he chooses what to remember and that's what fascinates me about him... So 'The Girl Who Is Born To Forget' can be a Lenny backward :D
